BBQ Time!
Blue skies, warm temps and vibrant flowers can only mean one thing...Summer is here baby! Best of all it also means that it is time to uncover and clean out those grills and no Madonna, i'm not talking about the ones you have been flashing in your mouth.
Because I love you all so much I want to share with you two of my biggest BBQ secrets, my homemade Summer house seasoning and the recipe to my "Wicked Hot BBQ Sauce. Throughout the week on both Vincente Living and Tony Vincente social media sites I will be sharing yummy recipes that are easy and fun to prepare that you and your family are sure to love.
I love flavorful foods so you wont find me using plain old salt and pepper, instead each Spring/Summer I whip up a quick house seasoning you can put in almost anything you cook throughout the season that will really give your meals an amazing flavor enhancement. Putting it together is real simple (depending on how much you want to make double or decrease the recipe measurements accordingly) all you need are the following everyday cooking dried herbs and spices you can find at any market:
1 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Sea Salt
2 tablespoons of Goya Sazonador Total
2 tablespoons Paprika
1 tablespoon Onion Salt
1 teaspoon Celery Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Allspice
1 teaspoon Ground Oregabo
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Ground Basil
Mix together in a medium sized bowl abd place in an empty salt shaker and just like that you have your own custom house seasonings you can reach for when your flavor meats, make salads, etc.
Now for my final trick here is my coveted recipe for spicy ( I warn you now its very spicy) Wicked Hot BBQ sauce!
Please note that this recipe makes 2 cups so as stated earlier, decrease or double the recipe measurements accordingly to how much you want to make. In a large mixing bowl add the following:
